Can I extract dubbed audio in Japanese, Spanish, or other languages?
Yes. Drop & Clean automatically parses multi-language audio stream manifests (itag 258-260). When available, you can extract specific audio tracks in Japanese, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, French, German, or Korean.
Do I need to provide cookies, proxies, or a YouTube account?
Never. There is zero setup. Drop your link, pick your format, and start downloading directly in your browser.
What happens when a video cannot be downloaded?
Some videos are restricted platform-wide by YouTube — including age-gated content, members-only streams, private uploads, geo-blocked regions, or DRM protection. When that happens, Drop & Clean returns an explicit, transparent diagnostic code (such as ERR_AGE_RESTRICTED, ERR_MEMBERS_ONLY, ERR_GEO_BLOCKED, ERR_DRM_PROTECTED, or ERR_VIDEO_UNAVAILABLE) instead of hanging or failing silently, so you always know the exact reason immediately.
Which formats and qualities are supported?
We support MP4 and WebM video from 8K Ultra HD down to 144p, alongside broadcast-grade audio extraction (MP3 320kbps, lossless WAV, M4A). You can also trim precise start/end ranges and choose specific audio tracks for multi-language dubbed videos.
Is downloading videos with this tool legal?
Yes, provided you have the legal right or permission to access and download the content (such as your own original media, public domain works, or Creative Commons licensed content). Drop & Clean operates strictly as an automated processing utility — we do not maintain a public library or host permanent media files.
